Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Escape Kick Back And Relax

A ship stranded on top of a giant rock is the center piece of this amazing water park.

The park is set in 56 acres of glorious wooded landscape with a relaxed open layout.

One of the main highlights is the 4 foot wave that swamps the giant lagoon every few minutes which if your brave enough you can try to surf it.

Humunga Kowabunga is for the brave amongst us to try and your usually greeted at the end of the ride by a number of excited 'look but not try' bystanders.

To unwind there's Castaway Creek where you sit back and drift around the park and chill for a bit.

Shark Reef is a safe snorkeling experience that doesn't involve anything that bites.

There's plenty more rides to try including the Gang Plank Falls, which is an exciting family raft ride.

The setting at Typhoon Lagoon is stunning and it's always great to take a picnic with you as there is plenty of places perfect for the occasion.

There are a number of places to purchase food and drinks on site like Leaning Palms where you can get old favorites like pizza ,burgers and beer.

You'll find Typhoon Lagoon in the Downtown Disney area and can be reached by the buses provided at the other Walt Disney World Parks.
