Disney's
Boardwalk
Dine - Shop - Relax
Disney's Boardwalk, situated in the heart of the Walt Disney World empire is a free, (yes that's right no admission charge) shopping, entertainment and dining experience that the whole family can enjoy.
Covering over 90 000 square feet, Disney's Boardwalk is centrally placed along side some of the Disney hotel's and theme park's.
Themed around the east coast of America in the early 1900's, Disney's Boardwalk really does bring an authentic feel of a time lost in history.
The area is especially beautiful at nighttime when the light's come on and start to reflect apon the tranquil lake.
During the day the Boardwalk is a relaxing, chilled out place to visit with unusual shop's and interesting restaurant's to explore.
At night Disney Boardwalk turn's into a fun entertainment venue where you'll be mesmerized by the live act's and street performer's.
The Atlantic Dance Hall (easily recognized at night with neon light's saying Dance Hall) is for over 21's and feature's live act's and music from the past to the present. Also for the over 21's is Jellyroll's - a show stopping piano bar with not one, but two piano's, where dancing is the name of the game and the audience are free to request their favourite tune's.
Jelly Roll's and The Atlantic Dance Hall occur an admission charge.
Eating out at Disney's Boardwalk cater's for all taste's. Highlight's include The Flying Fish Cafe - where seafood is the main speciallity. All the food is prepared on stage in front of you as the chef's cook and even interact with the guest's.
If your not seated too near the stage you'll be taken aback by the fabulous decor of the restaurant including wacky mirror's and parachuting fish (not something you see everyday).
Transportation to Disney's Boardwalk is possible by bus or by boat.
