Universal Studio's in Orlando opened on June 7th 1990, and was the first of the Universal theme parks.
Island's Of Adventure and CityWalk are located beside Universal Studio's and collectively the area is now known as Universal Orlando Resort.
When Universal Studio's was created it was designed to bring people closer to the movie's. To give them an insight into the making of the movie's, and this was all done through interactive ride's and show's.
Universal Studio's like a lot of other theme park's is divided into different land's (six to be exact). Each land has it's own theme with it's own attraction's linked to that theme.

Character Signing's and photograph opportunity's are available at a lot of location's throughout the park. You'll meet character's from classic movie's and cartoon's including Rocky and Bullwinkle, Betty Boop and many, many more.
Dining at Universal Studio's can range from casual dining to the more extravagant side of thing's. Lombard's Seafood Grille is a table service restaurant which feature's delight's such as Bay Shrimp Cobb Salad or Seafood Marinara. Mel's Drive In, is probably the most recognized of all the restaurant's in Universal Studio's as it is recreated as a 50's drive in complete with authentic 50's car's outside.
